Why there is a build fee
It pays for the build, once
Your monthly plan pays for hosting, revisions and the work that runs after launch. The build fee pays for the part that only happens once: turning your menu, zones and brand into a finished site.

A secure Stripe checkout page opens. Card details go to Stripe, never to us.

Stripe emails a receipt straight away, and we send a short confirmation too.

One charge, nothing recurring. Your monthly plan carries on exactly as before.
Build fee questions
Is this a subscription?
No. The build fee is a single one-time payment of $647. Nothing on this page sets up a recurring charge. Your monthly plan is a separate subscription and is billed separately.
Do I need to pay this?
Only if a build fee is actually due on your account, which means we have invoiced you for it. The fee is waived on plans started on or before December 31, 2026, so if your plan started by then there is nothing to pay here. If you are not sure, email hello@getrestaurantsite.com before paying.
Why is the amount the same on every plan?
Because the build is the same. Every plan gets the same custom coded site, menu pages and launch work. The plans differ in what runs after launch, such as the AI Engine or weekly content, and that difference is in the monthly price, not the build fee.
Is it safe to pay by card here?
Yes. Payment happens on a secure Stripe checkout page. Your card details are entered on Stripe and never reach our servers or our inbox.
Can the build fee be refunded?
All sales are final, including the one-time build fee. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge made by our billing: tell us within 30 days and we correct it within 10 working days. The full terms are in our refund and cancellation policy.
