Food truck website design that leads with where you are today

Food truck website design works when the first thing a visitor sees is where the truck is right now, because that single fact decides whether someone can actually get to you.

Who this is for

Is this page describing your kitchen?

This page is for an operator whose address changes every day. Your schedule lives on social media, your customers find you by accident, and the website, if there is one, has not been updated since the truck was wrapped. What you need is one page that always says where you are and one order link that works from anywhere.

A schedule block that leads the homepage

Unlike a fixed address restaurant, a truck's single most important fact changes daily. The design puts a schedule and current location block at the very top of the homepage, built so you can update it yourself between builds as a quick revision rather than waiting on a redesign.

One order link that works everywhere the truck is found

A customer might find your truck through a search result, a social post, or a QR code taped to the truck itself. The design centers on one consistent order link that works the same way regardless of where someone discovered you.

A route or coverage page for regulars

Regulars want to know your general pattern, which neighborhoods, which days, even if the exact spot shifts. A route or coverage area page gives that context without pretending the schedule is more fixed than it is.

What is included

What you actually get, line by line

All of it inside the monthly plan. Nothing below is quoted separately or billed by the hour.

  • A homepage schedule block showing where the truck is this week
  • One order link that works from search, social, a card or a QR code on the serving window
  • A route or coverage section for the areas you regularly work
  • A private event and truck booking request path with the lead time you need
  • A menu built for a phone held one-handed in a queue
  • Fast pages, because a park with bad signal is where your customers are standing

What is not included

The things we will not pretend to do

  • Running your social accounts. The Content Engine plan drafts posts; posting daily stories stays yours.
  • Event booking software or permits.
  • Live GPS tracking of the truck.

If one of these is the thing you actually need, say so on the call. We would rather point you somewhere else than sell you a plan that does not fit.

The signs

Four things that mean it is time

  • Somebody checked your website for today's location and found last summer's.
  • Your schedule only exists as a story that disappears in 24 hours.
  • You hand out cards with a URL you are slightly embarrassed by.
  • Private event and catering enquiries arrive as direct messages you lose.

What lands in the build

  • A homepage schedule block

Update your current stop yourself as a fast revision, no rebuild required.

  • One consistent order link

Works whether someone found you through search, social or a QR code.

  • A route or coverage area page

General pattern for regulars, honest about how the exact stop can shift.

  • A focused menu page

Built for a smaller, truck-appropriate menu rather than a full restaurant layout.

  • A private event booking page

For catering or truck rental requests, if that is part of your business.

How the work is done

Four steps, and what you do at each one

  1. 1

    Onboarding form and one call

About fifteen minutes of form, then a call where we fill the gaps and agree the launch date. The launch clock starts at the call, not at purchase.

  2. 2

    Structure before decoration

Menu sections, modifiers, zones, locations and the ordering path are agreed first, because that is what the design has to serve.

  3. 3

    Build and review

Every page custom coded and checked against the 90+ PageSpeed target on mobile and desktop. You see it and say what is wrong before anyone else does.

  4. 4

    Launch, then the weekly work

Live in 7 days on Order Starter. After that: articles, revisions and technical checks every week, and the build fee invoiced only once you have approved the site.

What drives the work

The price is fixed. This is what changes the effort

You pay the plan price whatever your kitchen looks like. These are the things that decide how much of the first two weeks we spend on structure, and they are worth thinking about before the onboarding call.

  • How often the schedule changes and how you want it updated
  • Whether you run one truck or several routes
  • How much of the private event path needs to be structured versus a simple request form

Plans start at $117 a month with a $647 one-time build fee invoiced only after launch. See all three plans.

From a kitchen like yours

One operator, one specific change

  • I tested the takeaway ordering page on my own phone before we approved anything. The essentials are within the first screen, with an obvious way to inquire. Sending the link by text during a call finally works the way it should.

Where you trade

Local, in the real sense of the word

Truck life differs by market: year-round pitches in Arizona and Florida, a season that closes in Ohio, permit rules that change by county. We build the schedule and coverage sections around how your year actually runs rather than a generic calendar.

Guarantees

The promises that are actually in the contract

Every line below is in the terms and conditions, not just on this page. If a claim only exists in marketing copy, it is not a guarantee.

  • 90+ PageSpeed, in writing

We guarantee a Google PageSpeed score of 90+ on mobile and desktop for pages we build and host. If a page falls below it because of our work, we fix it at no charge.

  • Local rankings inside 3 to 5 months

The terms commit to your site starting to rank for local searches in your area within 3 to 5 months of launch. If it has not, we continue the search work at no additional charge until it does.

  • The build fee is invoiced after you approve the site

The $647 one-time build fee is not taken at signup. It is invoiced once your site is live and you have said you are happy with it, which is why it is not refundable afterwards.

  • No hourly billing, ever

5 revisions a month are included and a revision has no size limit. After the fifth, each is a flat $20. Everything is completed within 2 to 5 working days.

  • The domain and your content stay yours

Your domain is registered in your name, and if you leave you tell us where to send it and we transfer it at no charge. On cancellation we provide an export of your content and articles within 14 days.

  • Cancel with 2 business days notice

By email, before your next invoice date. No lock-in period, no exit fee, no clause that keeps billing you for a site you asked us to stop.

The limits are stated too: neither guarantee covers changes you or a third party make, content published against our advice, or rankings for terms outside your area. Neither entitles you to a refund. The remedy is the corrective work, done at our cost.

Questions about food truck website design

Can I update my location myself between builds?

Schedule and location updates are handled as fast revisions within your plan's turnaround, so you are never stuck with yesterday's stop showing on the site.

Do you support QR code ordering from the truck itself?

Yes. The same order link used across search and social also works from a QR code printed on the truck, so there is one consistent destination everywhere.

Can the site take bookings for private events or truck rentals?

Yes, a private event or truck booking request page is a common addition and can be built as part of your site.

How do we keep the schedule current if we cannot edit the site?

Send it to us and it is a fast revision within the plan's turnaround. Most trucks send a week at a time, which is one message and removes the risk of the site showing yesterday.

Do we need a website if we have a busy social account?

A social account is rented ground and it disappears from search. A single page you own is what a search engine, a map listing and an AI assistant can actually read, and it outlives whichever platform your audience is on this year.

Can the site handle pre-orders for a pitch?

Where your operation allows it, yes: pre-order for a specific stop and time window, built around what you can actually hold and hand over.

What about a second truck?

A second route or truck gets its own section with its own schedule, handled as a revision rather than a new build.
